OUR TEAM
Raised in the architectural heart of Los Angeles, Boaz Miodovsky developed a deep appreciation for design, construction, and development from an early age. By the age of 19, he was already learning the business from the ground up, quickly distinguishing himself through a keen eye for design and a natural aptitude for solving complex challenges. A fast learner with an instinct for innovation, Boaz advanced rapidly, becoming Executive Vice President of Construction and Development at Kozar Properties, Inc. by the age of 25. He later co-founded Ketter Companies, seamlessly integrating his expertise in architecture, construction, and development to deliver thoughtful, high-quality projects. Known for his visionary approach, creative leadership, and unwavering integrity, Boaz brings together diverse teams to solve problems collaboratively and deliver outstanding results. His leadership is defined by hands-on involvement, transparent communication, and a steadfast commitment to ethical business practices.
In 2023, Boaz launched ETZ Enterprises, a family of companies designed to provide integrated development, design, and construction services. His portfolio spans market-rate apartments, affordable housing, luxury condominiums, and custom single-family homes. He has also led pioneering projects, such as developments built above subway tunnels in Koreatown—projects requiring innovative design and technical precision. Throughout his career, Boaz has managed real estate projects totaling over $500 million, comprising more than 1,400 residential units and 200,000 square feet of commercial space. Residing in Thousand Oaks with his wife and two daughters, Boaz continues to approach every venture with a blend of creativity, discipline, and a strong sense of purpose.
John, an accomplished architect, was born in Czechoslovakia and raised in Israel before immigrating to California in 1958. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. His distinguished career began with eight years at Gruen Associates and ten years at Maxwell Starkman & Associates. He then founded GFBA Architects, which he led for 25 years. His portfolio includes significant projects such as The Pacific Design Center, South Coast Plaza, and numerous regional malls throughout California. John's expertise has taken him internationally, with projects in the Philippines, Morocco, Baja California, and Israel. Despite attempting retirement twice, client demand has kept him active in the field, leading to his current association with Boaz and Etz Development, built on their long-standing professional relationship. Today, John resides in the San Fernando Valley, where he dedicates his time to his cherished role as a grandfather and enjoys being with family.
